In my paintings and art, I strive to reveal to the world the fleeting moments I capture, sharing how I see and feel them from a deeply personal perspective. It’s a viewpoint I understand intimately—one that may never recur—yet it endures eternally in the work I leave behind.
Bio
Fredy Rincon is a mixed-media artist, graphic designer, and welder based in Omaha, Nebraska, whose work blends street art, pop art, and graffiti influences with vibrant social commentary and themes of perseverance. Born in Los Angeles, California, Rincon spent his early childhood in Durango, Mexico, before returning to LA and eventually relocating to Omaha. Growing up in challenging environments marked by poverty, he initially explored art through graffiti tied to hip-hop, leading him to channel his experiences into creative expression.
Rincon’s artistic journey began with simple tools like a sharp No. 2 pencil and evolved to encompass diverse mediums, including spray paint, steel, clay, and colorful renderings of skeletal figures often inspired by Día de los Muertos motifs. He pursued formal education at Bellevue University, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design while working as a welder—a profession he has held for over 15 years, currently at Lozier Corporation. It was at Bellevue that he met his wife, Nicola; together, they have four children, and Rincon prioritizes family time when not at work or in the studio. His portfolio reflects a commitment to personal growth, family, and using art as a tool for reflection and change.
